sweet beat, horrible equalizing...

i hear no bass either!! its all mid range and high range! add a kick, equalize the main acid lead, and itll be 100x better!

Well this song was before I started mixing in sub bass to power my instruments, so I just didn't know how to add more then. The lead is exactly what you hear though, it's just a single triangle wave run through distortion and I think a chorus

should go under video game music

i see why u put this in dnb, but it sounds more like video game music to me... try using some extra effects, maybe new percussions; anything really to give it your own unique sound. alot of it is in volume adjusting, frequency filtering, and just plainly making your own sounds with whatever generators or samplers your using. adding more sounds to be filler helps thicken the audio too, but you don't want too much or it just craps up! don't give up!

check out spor, pendulum, noisia, audio, and alot of other dnb artists to see how they do it (not simple tho, ive been trying to copy their sounds for a while, its just constant sound and oscillator manipulation and flangers)

equalizing is all wrong :/

wish ng had a breakbeat or acid section, so i can see why you put this in dnb (no other place to really put it), but if you redid the percussion it could be quite a bit better. get a thicker kick, deeper bass, sidechain some of the main leads a little bit to give your audio some interesting complexity. all in all a good idea, but its a little too progressive for me ;)
